You can now work inside this Dubai Metro station – and it’s a pretty sweet deal

Based on the success of the launch of the first co-working space in Burjuman Metro Station, RTA will then look at expanding it to other favourable locations along the metro network,” said Mohammed Al Hammadi, Director of Commercial and Investment, RTA.

Speaking about the collaboration, Shahzad Bhatti, founder of The Co-Spaces added: “WO-RK is not just a co-working space; it’s a testament to our shared commitment to innovation, accessibility, and the holistic well-being of our community and we look forward to expanding this vision across Dubai’s mobility hubs.”

In addition to co-working spaces, WO-RK will also offer essential business support services at the centre. Including Ejari services, business addresses and mentorship programs, users can also sign up for the workshops and classes that will be run in-house.

The number of Dubai Metro stations is now sitting at 47, operating on both the red and green lines after flooding damage caused multiple stations to close. Sites such as Equiti and Onpassive stations had been shut for weeks, with bus and other diversions in place, however all are now fully operational.
